Terms & Conditions
Weather
Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) are affected by weather conditions. It is not possible to operate our systems in rain or high winds. Specific client requirements may also restrict us flying at specific times. Remote Robotics offers a practical and logical approach to scheduling our client’s projects.
Weather forecasts are closely monitored 5 days in advance of all work. If the forecast does not look favourable we will discuss with the client 48 hours prior to the shoot. The shoot can then be rescheduled at no additional cost. The booking deposit will be transferred to the new date.
If it is not possible to reschedule the shoot due to factors out of our control such as Live Events, client availability etc. the initial deposit will not be refunded.
In the event of an unfavourable weather forecast and agreement to continue with the original date, if we encounter bad weather our pilots will remain on site in the hope of a favourable break in the weather.
What We Need From You
The location of the shoot with postcode, proposed date and scope of work.
Site Survey
An initial office based online site survey will be carried out to determine if the shoot is possible and investigate any other factors, flight restrictions or permissions that need to be considered.
Each job is unique with a mixture of external influences that can affect when and where filming is possible, however we plan ahead to decrease possible disruptions.
Remote Robotics may carry out a physical site visit as part of our pre-planning.
Booking & Deposit
If the result of our office based site survey is positive, Remote Robotics will provide a quote with a detailed brief of the shoot, provisional date and costs.
If the quotation is agreeable, we may arrange a physical site visit to discuss any final arrangements.
We operate a provisional booking system; a firm shoot date will be agreed when we have received a 25% deposit.
Cancellation
If the client cancels the shoot within 7 days of the scheduled date the 25% deposit will not be refunded.
